Apps for chemical engineering student

Chemical Engineering Apps for android: Technology now become an integral part of our life and we can’t spend one day without checking our phones or using internet data. Today, we are gonna discuss the perks of having technology and how to use technology for learning. Millions of apps are available in Google Play Store and Apple Store but very few are available that are useful for students but students, as well as working professionals, to grow in their professional life.

Being a chemical engineering professional, I must say that although I am continuously gaining knowledge while working in the chemical industry, some of the basic concepts are evaporating from my brain hence I came up with a list of apps for chemical engineers that can help chemical engineers professional who are working can also refresh the basics of chemical engineering.

Chemical Engineering Apps for Android

1. Chemical Tweak – Cluster of chemical engineering knowledge

Yes, this is our app, designed and developed for chemical engineering students and working professionals. It is not always feasible to check websites every day but that doesn’t mean that we should stop learning. We had developed this app and make it available for free for people who relate to chemical engineering and are passionate about learning chemical engineering concepts, industrial safety, and environmental protection.

2. HiPER Scientific Calculator

No one can be an engineer without calculation, and an engineering level, we need a scientific calculator instead of a basic calculator. I still remember my first day of engineering college when our professor in the introduction to chemical engineering lecture asked us to get a scientific calculator and upgrade from basic to a scientific calculator.

HiPER Scientific Calculator is a popular calculator with up to 100 digits of significand and 9 digits of exponent. This calculator app is loaded with tons of features that are ideal for chemical engineering calculations. The calculator has many functions, such as:

  • Basic arithmetic operations including percentage, module, and negation;
  • Fractions (in the expression mode any expression including nested fractions can be entered as a numerator and a denominator).
  • Periodic numbers and their conversion to fractions.
  • Derivatives and integrals.
  • Calculation details – extended information about a calculation like all complex roots, unit circles, etc.
  • Complex numbers.
  • Display exponent as SI units prefix;
  • Memory operations with 10 extended memories.
  • Clipboard operations with various clipboard formats.
  • Result history.
  • Haptic feedback.
  • Conversion among 250 units; and many more.

The best part of this calculator app is, that you can even experience no ads although it’s free. Other calculator apps are available over Google Play Store but their free version contains ads but in this, you won’t see ads. If you want to support developers you can purchase the pro version or enable ads from more options.
